If you've been diagnosed with Hypothalamic Amenorrhoea (HA), you might be looking for advice on managing this condition and supporting your health. People with HA are often not given very comprehensive advice as this condition is often seen as a "normal" part of a certain lifestyle.

Trying to manage HA with a kind, compassionate and weight-inclusive approach can be tricky to navigate on your own, so we've created our Weight Inclusive Guide to HA!

This guide takes a no nonsense approach to health, giving you a range of realistic and accessible strategies that you can try to help yourself feel a little better.

Alongside the advice around gentle nutrition, we’ve also unpacked the impacts of sleep, rest, and movement on HA, to help you understand the condition through a more holistic and inclusive lens. We've given you a comprehensive strategy to eating which integrates Intuitive Eating, allowing you a gentle structure through this transition. We’ve dug deep into the literature to bring you the latest recommendations around stress management and other alternative therapies, giving a broad range of suggestions so everyone can find what works best for them. ⁣

Finally, we've done our best to make this guide accessible, weight inclusive, and non-judgemental. Everything we provide is a suggestion for you to pick-and-mix the approach that suits you, your body, and your circumstances, whatever that looks like for you right now.
